Hi! I'm Jennifer Bulmer.

Jennifer Bulmer is a childcare leader, systems developer, and educator with over 30 years of experience in Out-of-School Care and childcare program leadership. Throughout her career, she has worked directly with children, educators, and program leaders, gaining a deep understanding of the daily realities of running high-quality childcare programs.

Jennifer founded Childcare by Design to help childcare programs move away from scattered paperwork, reactive management, and constant overwhelm. Her work focuses on creating practical systems that support educators, simplify operations, and strengthen program quality.

Drawing from decades of hands-on experience, Jennifer has developed a range of tools and frameworks designed specifically for childcare programs, including the SYNC by Design planner system, program planning tools, and leadership resources for directors and educators. These systems help programs stay organized, maintain compliance, support staff accountability, and create environments where both children and educators can thrive.
